Privacy Policy

Short version: GutLog+ collects no personal data whatsoever. Nothing leaves your device. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no analytics.
1. Information We Collect
GutLog+ does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information with the developer or any third party. The app operates entirely on your device.
The only data the app stores is what you log yourself — meals, drinks, medications, bowel movement entries (including consistency and any notes), and mood entries. This data, including any health-related detail you enter, is saved locally on your device using Apple's standard local storage and is never transmitted anywhere.
2. Health Information
GutLog+ is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Any health-related information you enter (symptoms, bowel movement detail, mood, medications) stays on your device under the same local-only storage described above. The app has no way to access, view, or transmit this data — only you can, directly on your device or through the CSV export you choose to create and share.
3. Location Data
GutLog+ does not request or use your device's location.
4. Analytics & Tracking
GutLog+ contains no analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind.
5. Advertising
GutLog+ contains no advertisements and is not connected to any ad network.
6. Third-Party Services
GutLog+ does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or external servers. The app makes no network requests.
7. Data Sharing & Export
The only way data ever leaves the app is if you use the CSV export feature yourself — for example, to share a report with your doctor. That export is created and shared entirely at your direction, through your device's own share sheet; the developer never receives a copy.
8. Children's Privacy
GutLog+ does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
All data stays on your device. You can delete individual entries at any time from the History tab, use "Clear All Data" in Settings, or delete the GutLog+ app itself. No data exists anywhere else to delete.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Given that no data is collected, material changes are not anticipated.
